Uncle Riotous

Uncle Riotous is an old friend of our Uncle Jamaal who records dub records in his studio at the back of his moped repair shop in downtown Beirut. The Encyclopaedia of Dub says that he discovered the power of dub when he met up with a group of Messianic Rastafarians who'd got a bit lost on the way to Ethiopia. Uncle Riotous has released a very fine album of righteous dub called Dub is a Battlefield. We look forward to more fine dub from Uncle Riotous soon - as soon as he's fixed Uncle Jamaal's moped. Check out some tunes here, or on his iLike page or his Facebook profile.

Thousand Yard Prayer

This is Vince's project, where he explores elements of Persian and Arabic music in a Global Beats context. Yes, we know that it sounds just like Secret Archives - but he has to keep busy when the other band members are off fishing or having babies. Sympathy For Hosea was TYP's first release, a limited edition CDR. There will be more.

House Molari

This is Louis' project, where tablatronica collides with drum'n'bass to create the sound of future civilisations on distant desert planets. Booty-shakin', bassbin-breaking, block-rockin' beats!

The Talking Dog

This is Pete's other project, righteous conscious dub with a prophetic snarl, sweet riddims and a lot of good tunes! Check out his MySpace page, his iLike page and his Facebook profile.
